The Firm

Forest Partners is a professional firm, unique in Spain, specializing in economic and business management and, in particular, in the provision of services related to:

  • forensic practice in terms of lawsuits or disputes (experts’ evidence, arbitration, mediation, investigations, insolvencies, etc)
  • crisis and business restructuring, both operational and financial
  • transactions (assistance in the sale of companies, valuations, due diligence procedures, etc)

Our team consists solely of professionals with great expertise and the capability of providing added value for our clients and not learning from them. They are small but very experienced teams.

We are not sectorial experts, that is for our clients; we are experts in the complex environments and situations that a company might have to deal with at a particular time.

We aim to be practicaland effective, dedicating our time to our clients and not just producing large amounts of paper. We try not to limit ourselves to merely giving recommendations, but rather, involve ourselves in their execution.

Concerning conflicts of independence and interest

Although our advisers are Economists and Auditors registered with ROAC (Official Register of Accounts Auditors), we are not an auditing firm and so we are not subjected to independence restrictions and limitations for the provision of services to clients audited by such firms, in accordance with both the Law of Auditing in Spain and the Sarbanes Oxley Law in the United States or in other countries in the European Union.

These regulations prohibit the provision of certain services for audit clients such as actions as an independent expert, expert reports, valuations, executive functions for clients, etc. The fact that Forest Partners is not an auditing firm means that it is not affected by these regulations.

Moreover, in Spain, as there are so few prestigious professional services firms, conflicts of interests are increasingly more numerous, there being operations in which it is difficult to find truly independent advisors. In other cases, the firms try to solve this situation with “Chinese walls”, which are not always appreciated by clients. Forest Partners aims to provide an alternative to this type of situation by offering the services of advisers of renowned prestige.

Multidisciplinary network

Forest Partners maintains excellent relationships with the main lawyers’ firms, IT consultants and data recovery companies, credit entities and venture capital firms, which enable it to provide the best solutions for its clients, without having internal departments.

International network

For international work we collaborate with an international professional services company with a worldwide network.
